Tattu is a contemporary Chinese restaurant group with sites in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Edinburgh and London.
The concept fuses traditional flavours, modern methods & exquisite presentation within statement, individually designed restaurants, with the goal of providing a truly unique dining experience to customers.
I started working with Tattu in May 2018. I was tasked with content creation and taking ownership of the groups Instagram channel - designing and implementing a new 'Stories' style, managing and engaging with a growing community and producing eye-catching, viral photographic content for use across all social media platforms, PR and print.
The Tattu Instagram platform today exceeds 200,000 followers, just over triple the figure it had when I started working with them in May 2018 - making it one of the largest restaurant accounts on Instagram in the UK and Europe.
Other key account figures include:
- Weekly impressions hitting almost half a million with a 180,000 reach during both a new menu launch and the opening of the Birmingham restaurant.
- Average monthly growth of 2,700 followers.
- Successful competition campaigns with the latest of these exceeding 4,800 entrants and reaching over 130,000 people.

Dakota is a luxury lifestyle brand synonymous with style and impeccable service. Their boutique hotels are all thoughtfully designed with locations across Scotland, Leeds and Manchester.
I joined forces with a local PR agency to launch the latest Dakota hotel in Manchester city centre in late 2018.
Starting from scratch, I created brand new city specific social media channels for the brand plus a six month pre-launch strategic content plan with original graphics and photography - this included a launch countdown activation and PR collaborative campaign entitled 'Manchester, I Like Your Style' featuring a host of Manchester's most prolific fashion icons.
Key account figures include:
- Over 4,500 Instagram followers and 4,100 Facebook likes at
point of launch.
- A quarter of a million post reach in the month leading up to launch on Facebook, with over 20,000 posts engagements.
- Launch-week reach exceeding 10,000 on Instagram.
